March 2023 BSH Student of the Month
The March Student of the Month at Bluffton High School is Liam Jordan, son of Matthew and Amy Jordan of Bluffton. Liam is currently a Junior and has a 4.000 GPA.
Jordan is on the Varsity Academic Team (who were NWC champs in 2023), Latin Club (3 yrs), Art Club (1 yr), Volunteer Club (1 yr), Math Club (2 yrs), and in Ocean Focus. He was selected as "Student of the Year" in 9th grade in both English and Geometry. He has been a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years.
In athletics, Jordan competes in pole vault and runs distance in track. He was a pole vault Division III District Qualifier in 2021 and 2022 (team); and in cross country he and his team were State qualifiers for 2 years. In 2021 he was voted "Most Improved" in cross country. Liam was named a NWC Scholar Athlete in track (2 yrs) and cross country (3 yrs).

In his spare time, Jordan enjoys traveling, hanging out with his friends, snorkeling, hiking and binging Netflix. He had been a student volunteer for 3 years in Amanda Markley's 5th grade classroom and also attended a Mission Trip with the Ebenezer Church youth group.
Liam currently is taking CCP classes through Findlay University including Politics and Sociology. He also takes Trigonometry and Algebra both through Bluffton High School-Rhodes State.
After graduation Liam plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in Biology.
