Pirate Granger earns All-NWC baseball honors

Bluffton High School junior first baseman Jacob Granger was named second team All-Northwest Conference for baseball in voting conducted by the league coaches this week in Delphos.
Four Pirates were voted honorable mention all-league.
Junior center fielder Braeden Jordan made honorable mention all-league for the second year in a row. Junior pitcher Tyler Cupples and sophomores Landen Worcester (outfielder) and Quinn Eachus (shortstop) also received HM notice.
Bluffton finished 11-13 overall and 4-4 in the NWC.
Lincolnview senior standout Dane Ebel was named NWC Player of the Year.
Lancer mentor Eric Fishpaw was voted NWC Coach of the Year after leading Lincolnview to an outright undefeated league title at 8-0.
Crestview and Columbus Grove tied for second place in the league at 6-2.
Bluffton and rival Allen East tied for fourth in the conference standings at 4-4. Delphos Jefferson and Leipsic ended up knotted for sixth place at 3-5. Spencerville finished eighth at 2-6, while Ada was last at 0-8.
