Rachel A. Radebaugh worked at Mennonite Memorial Home
Rachel A. Radebaugh, 86, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born in Bluffton, Ohio on April 7, 1937 to Gideon and Mabel (Burkholder) Garmatter. She married Robert L. Radebaugh in July of 1965 and he predeceased her.
Rachel is survived by her three sons, Bruce L. Radebaugh, of Columbus, Gail A. Radebaugh, and Gene M. (Nancy) Radebaugh both of Columbus Grove, and her daughter Teresa D. (Dave) Randall of Ottawa. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Jane Sallaska of Kansas. Also surviving Rachel are two grandchildren, Nicole Edelbrock of Toledo, and Kathleen Edelbrock of Rossford, Ohio, two step grandchildren Jenna (fiancé Joe) Lambert, and Dale Lambert, two step great grandchildren Karson and Emmett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers Maurice (Eileen) Garmatter, and Leland (Sandy) Garmatter.
Rachel graduated from Bluffton High School. She loved living on the family farm, her flowers, bird watching, and most of all her grandchildren. She worked at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton for over 20 years.
The family requests that memorials be made in Rachel’s name to the Putnam County Homecare and Hospice at PCHH.net and or Ohio Cancer Association at Cancer.org/About-us/Local/Ohio.html/
Private family services will be held at a later date.
