Good Vibrations exhibit at ArtSpace/Lima in August
ArtSpace/Lima, in partnership with the Allen County Museum, will present the exhibition ‘Good Vibrations’ as part of celebrations for the opening of the new Pangle Pavilion amphitheater and Al Jardine’s return to his hometown to perform on August 4. Jardine is a founding member of the Beach Boys.
The exhibit will be a “re-do” of a 1991 show at ArtSpace that featured the work of photographer Don Jardine. Don’s work as a Lima Locomotive photographer was the first exhibit at ArtSpace during its early days. American House sponsored the show as part of the weekend in 1991 when the Beach Boys came to town for a concert at the Allen County Fairgrounds.
There will also be pictures and videos from the Beach Boys' visit to Lima.
The exhibit will be on display August 3-30.
