Donita Louise Luginbill was a teacher
Donita Louise Luginbill, 82, passed away October 19, 2023 at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. Donita was born June 23, 1941 in Bluffton to the late Myron and Norma (Luginbuhl) Luginbill.
Donita graduated from Bluffton High School and later received her master's degree in education. She taught first grade at Lima Public Schools before her retirement. Donita was a member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton and enjoyed mushroom hunting, doing puzzles and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Survivors include her sister, Delores "Dodi" (Jack) Oxenrider of Middlebury, Indiana; two nephews and four great nieces and nephews.
Donita was preceded in death by her longtime friend Dave Augsburger.
Donita's graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2023 at Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery, Bluffton. A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2023 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton with pastors David Glick and Dick Potter officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the fellowship meal at the church.
