Lou Ann Deitsch was a home health aide
Lou Ann (Hughes) Deitsch, 58, passed away October 20, 2023 at her residence. Lou Ann was born May 22, 1965 in Findlay to the late Charles and Gloria (Ferrel) Hughes. On November 27, 1999 she married Scott Deitsch who survives.
Lou Ann graduated from Cory-Rawson High School. She had worked as a home health aide for Ada Visiting Nurses and was a homemaker.
Lou Ann enjoyed decorating inside and outside of her house with flowers, statues and other yard decorations. She was very proud of her roots in Kentucky, "the Bluegrass State." Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Deitsch of Bluffton; four children, Dustan Thompson of Bluffton, Brandon Thompson of Findlay, Rhoda Thompson of Findlay, William Deitsch of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Gage, Wyatt, Dakota and Aleah; and four siblings, Charles (Jana) Hughes, Jr. of Bluffton; Emma Hofferbert of Elida; Juanita Meade of Lexington, Kentucky and Chad Hughes of Findlay.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Hughes.
A Celebration of Lou Ann's Life will be held Monday, October, 30, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ada Visiting Nurses or to the charity of the donor's choice.
