New Members The center recently welcomed 21 new members including individuals from Ada, Arlington, Bluffton, Columbus Grove, Findlay, Harrod, Leipsic, Lima, Ottawa, Rawson and Wapakoneta.
Window Display Thanks to Shar Marshall and her friends for putting all the Nativity Scenes in the Senior Center window. Be sure to check the display as it is lovely.
Holiday Closing Notice The Bluffton Senior Center will be closed Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan. 1, for the holidays.
Christmas Party Join us for a fun party on Friday, Dec. 22, at 1 p.m. We will have snacks, games and show the movie Elf. No reservation is required and you don’t need to bring anything. So grab a friend or two and join us.
Coach Trips with Tonya 2024
Best of Alaska July 18-31
Discover the Wonders and Wilderness of “The Last Frontier.” This trip includes Denali National Park, Fairbanks, Whitehorse and a cruise down the inside Passage. Full brochures are available at the Senior Center. Price starts at $5247. The trip includes all airfare, two train rides and so much more. A passport is required for this tour.
Blue Ridge Country Oct.7-14
Experience Fall in the Stunning Appalachian Mountains. From Shenandoah National Park tothe Great Smoky Mountains and Jefferson’s Monticello to Vanderbilt’s Biltmore Estate, this Appalachian adventure will introduce you to the natural wonders of this lush mountain region at the height of fall foliage. Price starts at $2,837.00 per person based on double occupancy. Brochures are available in the office. First day to sign up will be Dec. 7.
Bus trips with Debbie 2024
“Daniel” March 19-21
“Daniel” at Sight & Sound Theater – March 19-21 Tuesday to Thursday. From the fiery furnace to the notorious den of lions, DANIEL is an amazing theatrical experience! See one of the Bible’s most hope filled stories as it comes to life in this brand-new original stage production from Sight & Sound Theatres. This trip includes a motor coach, 2 nights lodging, 4 meals, 2 breakfasts, 4 shows/attractions, shopping, $532 per person/double occupancy. Registration and $100 deposit due at sign-up. Balance due by Jan. 15, 2024. Brochures available in the office.
Celtic Women - Wednesday, April 10
Join us for a wonderful evening of performances packed with exciting instrumentals and breathtaking harmonies. Including Irish dancers, bagpipers, and an array of traditional Irish instruments, including the bodhran, tin whistle, and uilleann pipes. We will be stopping at Cracker Barrell for Supper on your own before the show. First day for sign up is Dec. 19. Departing at 4:30 p.m. $70 due at sign up. If you want a copy of the Bus Trip Policy, stop by the office and pick one up.
