Betty J. Main worked for Triplett Corporation
Betty J. Main, 103, passed away January 18, 2024 at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. Betty was born January 31, 1920 in Hancock County to the late Fred and Edith (Mitsch) Livingston. She married Charles Main who preceded her in death.
Betty was a graduate of Mt. Blanchard High School. She was an office file clerk at Harris in Findlay, Triplett Corporation in Bluffton and RCA in Findlay. Betty was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Bluffton and she enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, walking and socializing.
Survivors include a son, Craig (Deb) Main of Bluffton; a daughter, Charlene (John) Thompson of North Fort Myers, Florida; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Louise Garner of Findlay.
Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Livingston, Harold Livingston and two sisters, Leona Wiess and Colleen Shaffer.
Betty's memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
