The S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club of Bluffton (Sharing Hopes And Nourishing Needs Of Neighbors) is sponsoring its 8th annual community garage/craft sale on Friday, Feb. 25, and Saturday, Feb. 26, at The Centre at Bluffton, 601 N. Main St.
The event is from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 25, and 9 a.m. to noon, and Saturday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Duane Bollenbacher of the club says to note the change of starting time (4:30 p.m.) on Friday from previous years.
"Parking is free and admission is $1. This garage sale event (35-40 vendors) has become a festive occasion for the residents of Bluffton and surrounding communities. You will find items and gadgets of every sort from A to Z, in addition to a variety of food items," said Bollenbacher.
All proceeds from the garage sale will go toward local youth and community projects. For information about obtaining a booth for the Garage Sale, contact Deb Bollenbacher at 419-358-7365.
In addition, the club is holding a carry-out or eat-in chicken barbecue Friday starting at 4:30 p.m. at The Centre. More information about the chicken barbecue will be forthcoming.
