Bluffton Lions report inside, outside projects

The Bluffton Lions Club April 2024 newsletter reflects the variety of projects undertaken by our local chapter of Lions International. The newsletter is edited by Barbara Plaugher.
On April 6, Lion Jackie Bourassa accepted the Governor’s Award, Humanitarian Award and Service Award on behalf of the Bluffton Lions Club at the District Convention.
On April 13, seven Lions and one helper cleaned up their designated roadside.
On April 16, the club meeting included a presentation by Christine Shearer, new director of the Allen County Museum, on changing exhibits, engagement with the community, lecture series and events planned for the museum.
UPCOMING CLUB EVENTS AND PUBLIC ACTIVITIES
April 20: Pancake/sausage breakfast at the Senior Citizens starting at 8:00 a.m.
May 7: Club meeting at Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. Board to meet at 6:00 p.m. Vote on Slate of Officers. Update on Festival of Wheels.
May 9: NorthWest Eyecare Foundation at Spencerville 6:30 p.m.
May 21: Club meeting at Town Hall at noon. Speaker TBA. 50/50 charity raffle drawing.
June 14: Festival of Wheels. Contact Lion Ed Yeager to help.
