Nancy Jean (Eichenbary) Grubb 1943-2011
Nancy Jean (Eichenbary) Grubb, 67, of McComb died Sunday Feb. 6, 2011, 3:50 p.m. at the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, following a brief illness.
She was born April 8, 1943 in Bluffton to Paul and Mary Jane (Pratt) Eichenbary. Her mother survives in Pandora. On Aug. 4, 1961 she married Norman L. Grubb and he died Jan. 22, 2003.
Surviving are two sons Norman (Shelly) Grubb of McComb; Bill (Katie) Grubb of McComb; and a daughter Kim Louviaux of McComb.
There are 8 grandchildren Allison Altstaetter, R. Gage Louviaux, Clayton, Emily, Adrian, Lauren Grubb, Lela, and Wilson Grubb; and 3 great grandchildren Eliza, Lydia, and Corra Dehart.
Also surviving is a sister Joyce (John) Harris of Bluffton, a brother Larry (Val) Eichenbary of Bluffton; a sister in law Bonnie (Jim) Haughn of Wabash, Ind., and a brother in law Mike (Linda) Grubb of Leipsic.
Mrs. Grubb was a co-owner of Grubb Construction Inc. of McComb. She was a 1961 graduate of Bluffton High School. She was a member of the McComb United Methodist Church, the McComb Garden Club, and The 5 O'clock Red Hatters.
Visitation will be on Wednesday Feb. 9, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Hartley Funeral Home, McComb. On Thursday, Feb. 10, 7 p.m. a memorial service will be held at the McComb United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jeff Harper and Chris Mustard officiating.
The body will be cremated. Memorial contributions can be made to the McComb Athletic Boosters Association, or to the church. Online condolences can be sent to www.hartleyfuneralhome.com.
