Stephen Fischbach 1957-2011
Stephen E. "Steve" Fischbach, 53, of Bluffton died at 5:23 a.m. on Feb. 6, 2011, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born in Lima on Dec. 21, 1957 to James and Mary Rita Hageman Fischbach and they survive in Pandora.
On June 6, 1987 he married Jacqueline Donovan and she survives. Mr. Fischbach was a bus driver for the Cory-Rawson and Bluffton Schools and was also a mechanic. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton, the Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Association and a 4-H advisor. He was a 1976 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and attended Clark Technical College.
Survivors also include three daughters, Amanda, Elizabeth and Pamela Fischbach, all at home, three brothers, William (Karen) Fischbach of Pandora, Robert (Stephanie) Fischbach of Ottawa, Paul Fischbach of Pandora, a sister, Roseann Fischbach of Rawson, and a sister-in-law, Jody Fischbach of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Fischbach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for his daughters in care of the funeral home.
