School will be in session Monday, Feb. 21
The winter weather forced changes in the Bluffton school calendar. According to Greg Denecker, superintendent, the school has used its three cancellation days. It may need to make up two days.
Monday, Feb. 21, President's Day, originally a no-school day, will now be a school in-session day.
Denecker said that the Ohio legislature may act this month on extending from three to five the number of weather cancellation days allowed this year, because of this year's unusual weather patterns.
If that is the case, the second make-up day may not be required. The second make-up day - if needed - is Thursday, April 21, which is currently the first day of spring vacation.
