Watershed Partnership meeting on November 15

The public is invited to the Blanchard River Watershed (BRWP) Annual Meeting on November 15 to “Imagine a single day without water!”, the featured presentation by Jason Phillips, Findlay Water Plant Superintendent. The 12:00 noon meeting, with lunch provided by RSVP, will be held at the Findlay Elks Lodge, 900 W. Melrose Ave., Findlay.
Learn about project updates, plans and upcoming events around the 6 counties of the Blanchard River Watershed. Network with area officials, community leaders and clean water advocates ahead of the 25 year BRWP anniversary in 2025. RSVPs required by Wednesday November 12 to Jane McCleary at [email protected].
Organized in 2000 by public and private stakeholders to address issues affecting the health of the Blanchard River watershed, the BRWP MISSION is to improve water quality through sustainable land use, conservation and collaboration.
The Partnership includes county commissioners, city and village officials, public health departments, managers of public water systems, major water users and businesses networking with local, state and federal resource agencies. Research, education and water quality monitoring are shared across the 493,434 acres of this Northwest Ohio watershed, part of the Maumee River system to Lake Erie.
