Shawn Combs 1967-2011
Shawn Combs, 43 of rural Bluffton died at 9:41 p.m., Feb. 14, 2011, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. He was born Oct. 22, 1967, in Lima, Ohio to Bill Combs and Nedra Reed. On Dec. 8, 1990, he married Stacy Brewster and she survives.
He had worked for All Star Heating and Plumbing, Findlay. He was a 1985 graduate of Bluffton High School. Survivors also include a son Shane Combs, at home; a daughter Sarah Combs, at home; his father Bill Combs of Indian Lake; his mother Nedra (Brad) Shafer of Bluffton; a sister Stacy (Dave) Irwin of Bluffton; a maternal grandmother Betty Reed of Bluffton; and his in-laws Willard (Janice) Brewster of Bluffton.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday Feb. 18, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Rev. Eric Rummel officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery, Bluffton.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com
