David M. Garrison worked for Ford Motor Company
David "Dave" M. Garrison Jr., 78, passed away March 2, 2025, at Mennonite Memorial Home.
Dave was born November 15, 1946 in Knoxville, TN, to David Garrison Sr. and Theda (Fritz) Garrison-Arn who preceded him in death. He married Judith “Judy” (Burt) Garrison who survives.
He was a 1964 graduate of Elida High School and was a member of Shalom Ministries in Lafayette. He dedicated many years to working at the Ford Motor Company as a material handling supervisor. Over the years, Dave and Judy opened their home to many children, who became part of their family. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with their big family.
Dave is survived by his wife, Judith “Judy” Ann Garrison of Bluffton; two daughters, Leah (Jeff) Eiden of Pandora and Dana (Aaron) Jaffee of Mt. Gilead, OH; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Marco and Jack Eiden of Pandora, and Amelia and Mia Jaffee of Mt. Gilead; three siblings, John C. Garrison, Ada Norman, and Elizabeth Tucker; a brother-in-law, Alberto Pintor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, Martha "Ellen" Pintor and Richard Garrison.
Services will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Mennonite Church with pastors Aaron Jaffee and Don Clinger to officiate the service. Burial will be in Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 9, 2025, 1:30-3:00 p.m. at the church.
