Robert "Bob" G. Badertscher owned Badertscher Milk Hauling
Robert "Bob" G. Badertscher, 86, passed away March 2, 2025, surrounded by his family, at the Mennonite Memorial Home.
Bob was born August 5, 1938 in Bluffton to Edwin and Mae (Murray) Badertscher who preceded him in death. On April 8, 1961, he married Ann (Zimmerly) Badertscher who preceded him in death on October 31, 2018.
He was a 1956 graduate of Bluffton High School and was the owner and operator of Badertscher Milk Hauling. He enjoyed cheering for the University of Michigan, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers.
He is survived by his two sons, David Badertscher of Bluffton and Michael (Jeanne) Badertscher of Findlay; and one granddaughter, Taylor (Mike) Gibson of Grass Valley, CA.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, James Badertscher and Harriet Badertscher.
Bob's family would like to share a special thank you to the Schwab and Denecker families for their unending support. They would also like to thank Bridge Homecare and Hospice and the Mennonite Memorial Home for their dedicated care.
Following Bob's wishes, there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
