Asa Clingerman recognized as Student of the Month for March 2025

Bluffton High School is proud to honor Asa Clingerman as the Student of the Month for March 2025. Asa is a dedicated senior with an impressive 3.946 GPA. He is the son of Gail Clingerman of Bluffton.
Asa has consistently demonstrated a commitment to his studies and extracurricular activities. His hard work and dedication have seen him garner a series of accolades, including being recognized as a National Merit Finalist and receiving academic awards in Geometry, College Algebra, Trigonometry, American Government, and Psychology. His impressive achievements have led him to become a member of the National Honor Society, where he exemplifies the values of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Asa is an active participant in the Drama Club and Esports Club. These endeavors showcase his creative talents and teamwork skills. His involvement extends to the Academic Team, further highlighting his passion for learning and intellectual challenge.
His remarkable dedication to community and character was solidified through his rank as a Life Scout in the Boy Scouts. He participated as a delegate in Buckeye Boys State, representing the Bluffton community while gaining valuable insights into leadership and civic engagement. Asa expanded his academic achievements by taking College Credit Plus (CCP) courses through the University of Findlay, Rhodes State College, and The Ohio State University, capitalizing on opportunities to further his education beyond the high school curriculum.
Outside the classroom, Clingerman enjoys a variety of interests that fuel his creativity. He is passionate about music, storytelling, and animation, and has a particular fondness for Dungeons and Dragons. These interests demonstrate not only his imaginative spirit but also his ability to engage with others in collaborative environments.
Following graduation, Asa intends to major in Mathematics at Grinnell College in Iowa. His passion for learning and commitment to his goals point to a bright future ahead.
Asa embodies the ideal blend of academic excellence, commitment to extracurricular activities, and community service. Congratulations on being named the March Student of the Month!
