Pirate softball seeded 5th

The Bluffton High School girls softball team was seeded fifth at the seven-team, Northwest Div. V Hamler Patrick Henry sectional/district drawing on Sunday, May 4.
The Pirates (2-10) will play at fourth seed Ottawa-Glandorf (6-8) Wednesday, May 14 at 5 p.m.
The winner advances to face top seed Bloomdale Elmwood (13-6), who leads the Blanchard Valley Conference with an 8-0 record, in the district semifinals at Hamler Patrick Henry on Wednesday, May 21 at 2 p.m.
Second-place BVC foe Liberty-Benton (15-4, 7-1 BVC) was seeded second. The Eagles will host seventh seed Fostoria (2-15) May 14.
The L-B/Fostoria victor goes on to face the winner between third seed Paulding (7-8) and sixth seed Spencerville (4-15) Wednesday, May 21 at Patrick Henry.
The district finals are May 23 at Hamler.
