Pirate softball leads suspended sectional battle
Game resumes Thursday at 5 p.m.

OTTAWA - The visiting Bluffton High School girls softball team led Ottawa-Glandorf 6-4 in the Div. V sectional finals when play was suspended in the bottom of the sixth inning by bad weather on Wednesday, May 14.
Fifth-seeded O-G was batting with two out and the bases loaded in the home sixth when rain stopped play.
The game will resume Thursday at 5 p.m.
If the fifth-seeded Pirates hold on to win, they will advance to face top seed Bloomdale Elmwood (15-7) in the district semifinals at Patrick Henry Wednesday, May 21 at 2 p.m.
Elmwood won the Blanchard Valley Conference championship with a 10-0 record.
