Mackay Tuttle named BHS Student of the Month for April 2025
MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton High School proudly recognizes Mackay Tuttle as the Student of the Month for April 2025. Mackay is a dedicated senior with a 4.0 GPA. She is the daughter of Amanda Wischmeyer and Jonathan Tuttle of Bluffton.
Mackay serves as the founder and president of the Bluffton High School Volunteer Club, organizing and leading service projects in the school and community. She is the senior class president and actively participates in the League of Women Voters, advocating for civic engagement and encouraging public participation in the voting process. Tuttle received academic awards in American History, Public Speaking, and Introduction to Literature, and has completed CCP courses at Bluffton University, University of Findlay and Rhodes State College.
In addition to her academic and extracurricular commitments, Mackay has participated in Buckeye Girls State and received the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens Award. She is a member of Attorney General Yost’s Teen Ambassador Board and has received the Governor’s Scholarship, Lima Host Lions Scholarship and Bluffton Lions Scholarship. She is also an election worker and actively participates in various civic initiatives in the Bluffton community.
Beyond her education, Tuttle enjoys reading, running and volunteering at Maple Crest. She works at Greenhorn and The Food Store, balancing her vocational responsibilities with her studies. After graduation, Mackay will attend The Ohio State University and plans to major in Economics and Public Policy.
Mackay is an outstanding student, and her dedication, leadership and commitment to service are commendable. Her involvement with the school and community reflects her hard work and desire to make a difference. Congratulations to Mackay Tuttle, Bluffton High School’s April Student of the Month.
