Bluffton University to welcome delegates for Central District Conference
MAY 20 MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton University will welcome the Central District Conference (CDC) from June 19–21, offering a vibrant mix of worship, workshops, community storytelling, and engaging seminars through the theme “Listen! Wisdom is Calling.” While the events are designed for registered CDC delegates, the worship services are free and open to the public.
Three thematic worship services will be held – "Wisdom from Our Anabaptist History," Thursday, June 19, 7:30 p.m., Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora, Ohio, "Wisdom from Our Churches Today," Friday, June 20, 1:40 p.m., Marbeck Center, Bluffton University and “Wisdom for the Future Church." Saturday, June 21, 8:30 a.m., Marbeck Center, Bluffton University.
Friday, June 20 will also conclude Bluffton University’s spring Anabaptism at 500 events with “One Hundred Years of Mennonite Women through Story and Song” honoring the voices and legacies of Mennonite women. This event will be held at First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, Ohio from 7-8:30 p.m., conducted by Wendy Chappel-Dick, MBA ’08. It has been made possible with the generous support of Lowell and Marty Hostetler.
