Allen C. Burkholder was a farmer
Allen C. Burkholder, 95, passed away May 22, 2025 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Allen was born September 3, 1929 in Allen County to the late Otis and Rhoda (Amstutz) Burkholder.
Allen graduated from Bluffton High School and was a life-long farmer who enjoyed horse racing and attending county fairs.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara Wehrly of Oro Valley, Arizona; three nieces, Sondra Braun of Bluffton, Kathy (Larry) Lehman of Pandora, Niece, Lisa Kerner of Sherman Oaks, California; a nephew, David (Irene) Wehrly of Tucson, Arizona and a great-niece, Michelle (Nathan) Pane of Massachusetts.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Rhoda Burkholder; two brothers, Evan Burkholder, Sylvan Burkholder and a sister, Mabel Howard.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery with William Herr officiating.
