ALLEN COUNTY EMA ON FACEBOOK__An Enhanced Risk for severe storms has been issued by our partners at the National Weather Service for Wednesday, June 18 across much of our region.
Timing: The greatest threat is from 4 PM Wednesday to 1 AM Thursday, though a stray storm could develop earlier in the day.
Threats Include:
- Damaging winds
- Large hail
- Heavy rainfall
- An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out
Now is the time to review your emergency plan and ensure you have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts, such as:
- NOAA Weather Radios
- Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA)
- Local media coverage
