Senior Citizens center has two-day craft supply sale Friday and Saturday
Bluffton Senior Center's will hold a craft supply sale, Friday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to Tonya Meyer, director.
The sale includes sewing notions, candle supplies, yarn, wood, material, doll making, buttons, beads, ribbon and much more. The Center is located at 132 N. Main St., Bluffton, phone 419-358-8971.
She said that the Senior Center has carried American Girl doll clothes and now also have Bitty Baby doll clothes and Barbie doll cloths as well as doll clothes of all sizes.
"Bring your doll in and we will help you find something that fits," she said.The Center also carries wooden items including toys. New wooden toys include a farm tractor and trailer and doll cradle.
"We have been busy making sunbonnets for the up coming Sesquicentennial. We also have many new styles of winter hats from adult down to doll size. Hand made, one of a kind jewelry is also available as well as tote bags, purse organizers and wallets," said Meyer.
The Center still carries rugs, table runners, placemats, baby gifts, pillowslips, doilies, pot scrubbers and wall hangings. The Center now with longer hours on the first and third Thursday of the month, open until 7 p.m. during the community.
