Letter: BOHS work night at the Depot, July 30
BLUFFTON OHIO HISTORICAL SOCIETY__It's time again to spruce up the Depot, Wednesday, July 30, at 6:00 p.m. If we all pitch in, the work of many hands will make this work go fast. Please bring your yard equipment as we spruce up the place prior to Bluffton History Day on Saturday, August 9 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Yes, History Day is only a week and a half away! If you haven't gotten your Chicken BBQ dinner tickets, please plan to do that soon! Meals are $10 each and are being prepared by Bluffton's own Bubba C's BBQ. There will be some tickets available at the Depot Wednesday night - and we need your help selling more, too! Tickets will be on sale Saturday, August 2 from 8:30 to Noon at Bluffton's Farmer's Market - or you may pick up some to sell.
I've found that informal gatherings like these are also a great opportunity to meet and get to know other members that you may not already know, also. It's a fun atmosphere to both work and socialize! Come join in!
Thanks, and I hope to see you at the Depot.
