Pirate boys golf 3rd at SJCC Invite

FREMONT__The Bluffton High School boys golf team finished a solid third in the 10-team St. Joseph Central Catholic Invitational at Sycamore Hills Golf Club on Friday, August 15.
Sandusky Perkins won the tournament with 323 strokes. St. Mary Central Catholic ended up second (331), just two shots ahead of Bluffton (333).
Delta was fourth at 335, followed closely by Tiffin Calvert (337) among the closely bunched top five.
Blake Finneran of SMCC was tournament medalist with an 18-hole round of 70.
Grady Coonfare of Bluffton was second overall after firing a round of 74.
Pirate Nick Lovett finished in a tie for fourth with a 79.
