Cheryl Anise Pingle worked at Dayspring Church

Cheryl Anise Pingle, 73, passed away August 21, 2025 at Story Point in Findlay. Cheryl was born September 25, 1951 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Wallace and Evelyn (Street) Lugibihl. On June 14, 1969 she married Daniel Pingle who survives.
Cheryl graduated from Pandora-Gilboa High School. She had worked as an administrative secretary at Dayspring Church in Bowling Green where she had been a missions director. Cheryl taught private piano lessons and attended the Pandora Missionary Church. She was a member of the Quilting Guild, Goldwing Road Riders Motorcycle Club and the Euchre Club. Cheryl enjoyed bible study, scrapbooking and playing piano.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Pingle of Findlay; two children, Melanie (John) Hortch of Cleveland, Texas, Jerrod (Lori) Pingle of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jacob (Hannah) Hortch, Andrea (Cameren May) Hortch, Sara Pingle and Ethan Pingle and a brother, Dana (Jenny) Lugibihl of Micco, Florida.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Evelyn Lugibihl.
A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Pandora Missionary Church, 300 Rocket Ridge Road, Pandora with Pastor Matthew Steiner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the church.
