Obituary for Dawn Inniger Curth
September 4-5 visitation and memorial service
Dawn Inniger Curth, 60, of Jenera Ohio passed away peacefully at Bridge Hospice on September 2, 2025.
She was born in Bluffton Ohio May 28, 1965. Her parents were the late Jarice (Manthe) and Harold Inniger.
Dawn was baptized, confirmed, and married at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jenera, Ohio where she was active in women's ministry and the choir. Church was the center of her life. She was deeply blessed and surrounded by the love and community of her church and family until the end. Dawn married Ray Curth on April 22,1989. She is survived by her husband and four children: Joshua (Devika) Curth of Aurora Colorado, Daniel (Emma) Curth of Miamisburg Ohio, Anna (Logan) Brand of Leesburg Florida, Sarah (Brandon) Curth of Perrysburg Ohio. She is also survived by her three wonderful grandchildren, Indira, Penelope and Kiaan.
She is also survived by her siblings Jeff (Tracey) Inniger of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, Kathi (Mark) Curth of Jenera Ohio, Brad (Lisa) Inniger of Ada Ohio, Paul (Kim) Inniger of Bluffton, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mark, and Ray's parents Harold and Judy Curth.
Dawn's world was shaped by her love of social activities. Any gathering would feature Dawn photographing as many "memories" as she could. Christmas held a special place in her heart. She counted down to Christmas in July and spread the love of the season baking and sharing her special cookies, a tradition she learned from her father and Aunt Karen (Manthe). Dawn was always on the move, volunteering for the church and attending each of her kid's activities. If she did sit still, she was in her "happy place" on the front porch in her house in Jenera with a cup of coffee admiring the sun set over the farm by her house.
Dawn loved sharing her love for Jesus to all people, Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
The visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington and for one hour prior to the service (1:30-2:30 p..m.) on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the church with Pastor Robert Krueger and Pastor Alois Schmitzer officiating.
Donations may be made to the Women's Ministry or Mornings with Mommy at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Jenera, Ohio.
Dawn had a deep love for celebrating the birth of our Savior. In her honor, Cackleberry Pines Christmas Tree Farm will be placing a handmade nativity at their site and establishing a "Christmas Tree Fund" to help families who may not be able to afford a tree. If you would like to contribute to these projects in memory of Dawn, please make checks payable to Bryan and Natalie Miller, noting "Dawn's Christmas Memorial" in the memo line.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Jacobus and all the staff of Bridge Hospice for their compassion and care. Online condolences can be shared with the family by visiting www.coldrencrates.com/
