The Icon's first siting of scarecrow decorating contest entries coincided with the September 24 removal of the hanging baskets that beautified downtown Bluffton all summer. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce invites businesses and organizations to claim a flag pole and create a one-of-a-kind scarecrow to entertain downtown visitors.
