First National Bank welcomes Dr. Kirby Overton to board of directors
SEPT. 30 MEDIA RELEASE__First National Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kirby Overton, Dean of the College of Business at the University of Findlay, to its Board of Directors. Dr. Overton's appointment reflects First National Bank's mission and ongoing commitment to strong leadership and community involvement.
Dr. Overton brings extensive experience in higher education, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. She has served at the University of Findlay since 2015, advancing from instructor and assistant track and field coach to her current role as Dean. A Cincinnati native, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, an MBA, and an Ed.D., all from the University of Findlay.
Beyond her academic career, Dr. Overton is an entrepreneur, author, and active community leader. She serves as Vice Chair of the United Way Board and sits on its Executive Committee while co-chairing its annual campaign. She is also a member of the Blanchard Valley Health Systems Board and the Hancock Youth Leadership Advisory Board. Additionally, she is the co-founder of the Bravely Leading: Women's Leadership Conference.
