Pirate girls soccer plays to scoreless tie vs. St. Marys

ST. MARYS__The visiting Bluffton High School girls soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with non-league foe St. Marys on Thursday, September 30.
The Pirate girls are 7-7-1 overall after their first tie of the season.
Meanwhile, St. Marys is now 5-6-4 after the knot.
Bluffton put two of its six shots on goal. St. Mary’s fired 20 shots, nine of which were on target.
Bluffton senior keeper Kynzie Ewing saved all nine SM shots. Roughrider goalie Bella Hertenstein made two stops.
The Pirates play at Liberty Center on Tuesday, October 7.
Bluffton then finishes its regular season at perennial Western Buckeye League champion Ottawa-Glandorf (9-5, 6-1 WBL) on Thursday, Oct. 9.
