Orange Township asks voters for renewal of tax levy on November 4

Orange Township in Hancock County, which includes part of the Village of Bluffton, has a ballot issue on the November 4, 2025 General Election ballot. The issue asks Orange Township voters to vote for or against the following tax levy:
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Orange Township, Hancock County, Ohio, for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $59,035 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $30 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for five years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
