Woman who reported being assaulted in Ada is is found dead
UPDATED with information from The Lima News.
DEC. 18 MEDIA RELEASE__On November 24, 2025 Paula Dirmeyer came to the Ada Police Department to report that she had been assaulted within the Village of Ada by a known individual. Officers gathered information from her and began an investigation.
On November 27, officers were notified by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office that Paula had been found deceased in her rural Allen County home; her body was transported to Lucas County for a post-mortem exam.
This continues to be an ongoing investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Lima News reported on December 18 that Dirmeyer was found in a Harrod home following a call regarding a woman who was not breathing.
