America 250 Hymn Sing at English Lutheran Church, Jan. 11
By Paula Pyzik Scott
Bluffton's America 250 committee is hosting a hymn-sing celebration on Sunday, January 11, featuring music known and performed in the late 1700s. Committee member Dan Basinger has created music books for participants.
The music "connects us with history," says committee member Pat Rodabaugh; "We are still united through music" with people who lived at the time of our nation's founding.
The event will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., and includes refreshments.
Stay tuned for information on Bluffton's next America 250 event, featuring Liberty Bell collages in February.
