Janice (Oberly) McIntosh worked for Reliant Mechanical
Janice (Oberly) McIntosh passed away on January 31, 2026, at her home in Bluffton with her family at her side. She was born July 9, 1944, to James L. and Betty A. (Moffitt) Oberly, who preceded her in death.
Janice married C. Byron Weihrauch on July 4, 1965, in Fort Gordons, GA. They had three sons, Jeffrey (Holly) Weihrauch, Michael (Michele) Weihrauch, and Stephen (Stacy) Weihrauch. They divorced in 1976. On August 6, 1982, she married Tenzley “Bud” McIntosh. They spent 44 years together. He resides in Bluffton.
Janice graduated from LaFayette Jackson High School in 1962. She went to the Northwestern School of Commerce for a degree in Business and Accounting. She retired in 2014 from Reliant Mechanical in East Liberty, Ohio.
In addition to her sons, she is survived by her sister Jean (Stan) Clum and her brother Mark (Carla) Oberly; and two stepdaughters, Christy (Sean) Hoover and Brandi (Justin) Arbogast; and a brother-in-law Robert Konopka.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Konopka.
Janice has three grandsons, Tony (Kera), Logan (Crystal) and Grant (Kristin) Weihrauch; four granddaughters, Camryn (Drew) Johnston, Maleigha Weihrauch, and Avery and Jemma Stumbaugh. She has five great-grandchildren, Rylan, Landon, Liam and Eleni Weihrauch, and Finn Johnston; and one surviving aunt, Marilyn Schirch. A great-granddaughter is due in June.
She loved to read, take walks and work outside with her flowers until her health would not let her. She has a special thank you to her family, the many caring doctors and nurses, hospice and many friends who sent texts and phone calls.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated with no visitation or memorial service.
