Donations for the American 250 Drone Show may be made to Village of Bluffton, memo: American 250
MEDIA RELEASE__Hear Ye! Hear Ye! We declared independence from England!.....250 years ago, that is! Yes, our bold experiment in democratic independence is celebrating its 250th anniversary this summer.
Why wait for summer, Bluffton? Let’s celebrate all year long! The Village of Bluffton will be celebrating 250 years of American Independence with events during each month in 2026. The America 250 in Bluffton, Ohio, committee has planned events for all ages and members of your family.
January saw our kick-off with a hymn sing exploring some of the hymns and singing practices present in the worship lives of our founding families. Also, some enjoyed the free admission Saturday matinee showing of the movie TRUE GRIT at the Shannon Theater. Kids and adults alike were considered for all activities planned this year. All members of your family can participate and enjoy our monthly events.
Along with our articles in the Bluffton Icon, please visit our Facebook page, Bluffton, Ohio Celebrates, for updates on all planned events. Our events are also advertised on the Presbyterian church sign, the Diamond Industries sign, and in a display in the Senior Citizens’ storefront window on Main Street.
If you take photos at any of our events, please consider sharing them with the America 250 in Bluffton, Ohio committee for use in our future advertisements and wrap-up articles. [email protected]
