Ella Mae Bazzy worked at Mennonite Memorial Home
Ella Mae Bazzy (neé Robertson) of Bluffton, Ohio passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born on July 24, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late John and Edna (Jones) Robertson. On March 15, 1959, she married Shafik Mohammed Bazzy, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2004.
She was a beloved mother to Reema Rose Bazzy of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Adla K Blackwell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lubna J Bazzy of Walbridge, Ohio, Omar J Bazzy (Joumana Najdi Bazzy) of Toledo, Ohio, and Jamil Bazzy of Springboro, Ohio; and loving grandmother to Dane Blackwell, Seth Blackwell, Leila Bazzy-Mayne, and Laiq Reichenbach.
Ella worked for several years in the kitchen of the Mennonite Memorial Home. She was an avid crafter, quilter, reader, and traveler. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
A memorial service for Ella will be held at a later date.
