This historic Bluffton family photo needs its subjects identified.
Bluffton pioneer photographer Will Triplett took this photo of the Christian and Regina Stauffer Matter family sometime between 1895 and 1911. The family lived on Bentley Road, south of Bluffton. Only three persons are currntly identified. They are Regina Matter, the mother, who sits in the top center, and Joseph Gromann and his wife, Anna, who sit facing the camera to the left Regina.
Regina’s husband, Christian, was no longer living when this photo was taken. Based upon the family genealogy, the photo includes persons with maiden names of Badertscher, Amstuz and Oberly, in addition to Matter.
