Herbert Reichenbach 1922-2011
Herbert E. Reichenbach, 88 died at 7:05 p.m. March 4, 2011 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. He was born April 10, 1922 in Bluffton, Ohi,o to Amos W. and Mary Ann (Welty) Reichenbach.
On June 19, 1943 he married Dorothy Agner and she preceded him in death. He retired from Triplett Corporation, Bluffton. He was a member of Pandora Missionary Church. He enjoyed woodworking. He was a school bus driver for Bluffton Schools for many years. He drove truck from Steiner Stockyards, Bluffton. He also farmed with his father. He was a Bluffton High School graduate Class of 1941.
Survivors include two sons Sam (Diana) Reichenbach and Jack (Edie) Reichenbach both of Bluffton; three granddaughters Tracy Hosler, Rue (Neil) Hauenstein, and Janell Reichenbach; two grandsons Dennis (Jeanette) Chamberlin and Todd (Tina) Reichenbach; eight great grandchildren Cassie (fianc'ee Chris Blume) Reichenbach, Carissa and C. J. Hosler, Spencer, Grant and Shannon Chamberlin, Tori Reichenbach and Karson Hauenstein.
He was preceded in death by three brothers Amos, Ray and Ulysses Reichenbach; four sisters Margaret Reichenbach, Stella Marquart, Marie Niswander and Florence Andrews. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday March 8, 2011 at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton.
Chaplain William Herr officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
