38th Annual Kewpee High School Invitational Art Exhibit begins Mar. 20
MEDIA RELEASE__ArtSpace/Lima will host the 38th Annual Kewpee High School Art Invitational from March 20 through April 11, 2026, celebrating the creativity and talent of student artists from across the region. Generously sponsored each year by Kewpee Restaurants, this longstanding exhibition continues a proud tradition of highlighting outstanding work from area high schools.
This year, students from nineteen regional high schools have submitted artwork for consideration. Pieces will be juried on March 15, with selected works featured in the exhibition opening on Friday, March 20. Artwork will be presented across eight categories: Ceramics, Digital Media, Drawing, Jewelry, Assemblage, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture.
Awards will be presented in each category, along with a prestigious Best of Show honor and the distinguished Dr. Sullivan Award, recognizing exceptional artistic achievement.
ArtSpace will be highlighting Josiah Phillips, student at Lima Senior High School, who will be providing piano music in the lobby for everyone’s enjoyment.
The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours: Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Kewpee High School Art Invitational remains one of the region’s most anticipated student exhibitions, offering young artists professional gallery experience while celebrating the vital role of arts education in our community.
