Village of Bluffton fire hydrant flushing begins Apr 13
MEDIA RELEASE__The Village of Bluffton, will begin its bi-annual fire hydrant flushing program on Monday, April 13, which is expected to last for approximately two weeks.
This important maintenance process helps ensure the integrity of the water system, maintains water quality, and verifies proper operation of fire hydrants throughout the community.
During this time, residents may experience temporary discolored water or reduced water pressure. If discoloration occurs, it is recommended to open a cold-water faucet or an outdoor spigot and allow the water to run until it becomes clear.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we perform this necessary maintenance to continue providing safe and reliable water service.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Village offices.
