Pirate boys tennis beats Wauseon

VAN WERT__The Bluffton High School boys tennis team defeated visiting Wauseon 4-1 on Monday evening, April 13.
The Pirates improved to 5-1 with the decisive victory.
Seniors Grady Coonfare won easily 6-1, 6-1 at first singles.
Senior Isaiah Kohli lost a tough three-set bout at second singles 6-2, 5-7, 10-7.
Sophomore Toby Yarnell recorded a double bagel win at third singles by a 6-0, 6-0 score.
Bluffton senior Hudson Phillips and junior Braydon McClure and combined to win decisively at first doubles 6-2, 6-1.
Sophomores Brooks Schwarz and Owen Brauen rallied for a 3-6, 6-2, 11-9 victory at second doubles with a close win in the third-set tiebreaker.
The Pirates are slated to play at Celina (2-2) on Wednesday, April 15.
