Pirate boys tennis win in Shawnee makeup

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School boys tennis team tied visiting Shawnee 2-2 in a makeup match on Thursday evening, April 16.
The Pirates are 5-1-1 after the tie, as the second doubles match was canceled due to rain.
Pirate senior Grady Coonfare won 6-1, 6-2 at first singles.
Pirate senior Isaiah Kohli lost at second singles 6-0, 6-3.
Senior Nick Lovett was beaten at third singles by a 6-4, 6-4 score.
Bluffton senior Hudson Phillips and junior Braydon McClure won at first doubles 6-4, 6-4.
Sophomores Toby Yarnell and Micah Lemley had their second doubles match called off due to the weather.
The Pirates are slated to play in the Van Wert tournament on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m.
