Geoffrey S. Wolfrom served in the U.S. Army
Geoffrey S. Wolfrom, 78, passed away April 16, 2026, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. Geoffrey was born on November 21, 1947, in Bluffton to the late Orlan and Miriam (Schaeublin) Wolfrom. On September 9, 1972, he married Doris Karhoff Wolfrom, and she survives.
Geoffrey was a 1965 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School and attended Northwest Business College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Geoffrey retired from Cooper Tire in Findlay, where he worked as a logistics director. He was a member of the VFW Post 9142 in Ottawa and the Eagles #2234 in Ottawa. Geoffrey loved fishing and classic cars, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and socializing with his friends.
Survivors include his wife, Doris N. Wolfrom of Pandora; two children, Eric V. (Amber) Wolfrom of Findlay, Megan K. (Josh) Scheub of Perrysburg, Ohio; three grandchildren, Nyla Wolfrom, Grayson Scheub and Stella Scheub; and nine brothers and sisters-in-law.
Geoffrey was preceded in death by a sister, Jocelyn Wolfrom.
Geoffrey's services will begin at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2026, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton. Visitation will be on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Erie Protection Fund.
