Letitia M. (“Tish”) Triplett was a photographer
Letitia M. (“Tish”) Triplett passed away on the evening of March 17, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Tish was born in Bluffton, Ohio on August 3, 1962, the daughter of M. Morris and Jean Hoover Triplett. She was a 1980 graduate of Bluffton High School, and went on to graduate from Bluffton College and the Ohio Institute of Photography in Dayton. Her great-grandfather, Will A. Triplett, was the first commercial photographer in Bluffton.
In addition to her work as a photographer, she had a love of horses and all other animals. In later years, Tish had a small business in Cincinnati caring for others through housekeeping, cooking, gardening and companionship. She attended AA for many years and gave and received much fellowship and support there. Everyone that knew Tish knew how caring she was of other people.
She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved partner Jim Grady. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Timm Triplett (Donna Slonim), of Andover, Massachusetts, brother Tomm Triplett of Hemlock Lake, Michigan, nephew Daniel Triplett, a student at Tufts University, and by many, many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cheviot United Methodist Church, 3820 Westwood Northern Blvd., Cincinnati at 2:00 PM on June 13, 2026, with the Rev. Thomas Hargis officiating. Memorials may be made to the church or to the R.L. and Etta L. Triplett Memorial Foundation honoring her grandparents, PO Box 158, Bluffton, Ohio 45817.
