On Friday, May 22, the Bluffton Police Department assisted the Ohio SPCA in removing two dogs known to be aggressive from a residence on N. Lawn St. in Bluffton.
The Bluffton Police Department has stated, "Sgt. Hochstetler and Cpl. Rayle responded ... to assist in an animal complaint. The officers who responded were utilized to help create a safe environment for the other agencies, as they had a warrant to gain access to the property."
In a Facebook post, the Ohio SPCA thanked the Bluffton Police Department and noted that the adoption center was temporarily closed to provide staffing for the removal.
