Senior Center's July Dinner meeting topic: The history of Dixie Highway
FROM BSC HAPPENINGS_The Bluffton Senior Center will host its July monthly meeting on Monday, July 13 at 6:00 p.m.
The program, led by Mike Buettner will give participants the facts on the history of the Dixie Highway, a highway that runs right down Main Street of Bluffton. Senior Center member, Frank Roidt, also turns 90 in July and will be celebrated during the July dinner meeting. He will be offered a red rose and life membership.
The meal will be catered by Don from Ted's Market in Pandora with a menu of smoked pork chops, potato salad, green beans, a roll, and cheesecake for dessert. Cost of the dinner is $13.00, and reservations need to be made by July 8.
