History Day scavenger hunt with 12 clues
Prizes for the first three to submit their finds

August 8 Bluffton History Day activities include a scavenger hunt with 12 details from historic downtown buildings (Hint: look up!) First, second, and third place prizes will go to the first people to complete the scavenger hunt, with Langan Family Finds providing the prizes.
The prizes are a trophy, a gift card and a coupon for Langan Family Finds.
All who complete the hunt get a coupon for $1 off a boba drink at Langan Family Finds, 107 Vine St.
To participate, pick up photo clues beginning at 10 a.m. at the Bluffton Farmers Market or check the Blufiton Icon and Bluffton Icon Facebook page at the same time.
Write down the business name or address in the box below the photo.
- Find them all and bring back to the Bluffton Historical Society table to get a prize.
- The table will be in front of the Farmers Market from 10 a.m.-noon and on the Presbyterian Church lawn from noon-2:00 p.m.

10 a.m. - Q&A and display of Fett Hardware memorabilia with Ed Fett and family at Bluffton Senior Center, 132 N. Main St.
11 a.m. - Dan Gillett will host a Q&A and provide a display of Gillett Pastry Shop memorabilia with free sausage rolls (donations welcome).
Noon - Hankish Confectionary Q&A with free Hankish-recipe ice cream; between Bluffton Presbyterian Church and Ellerbrock Spine and Soft Tissue on Main St.
The Bluffton Ohio Historical Society has begun a $1.3M capital campaign to create a Bluffton History Museum on Main St. For more information, visit www.BlufftonForever.com.
The society meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the 1899 Depot at 405 N. Spring St., Buckeye Park.
