Howard Thornsberry, December 4, 1939-September 7, 2026, was a devoted husband, father, and man of faith. He worked very hard in the produce industry to provide for his family. He enjoyed golfing and watching his Cleveland Guardians every chance he had.

Howard's love for Jesus Christ was evident throughout his life, and that faith remained steadfast to the end. His family was blessed to witness his faith on display during his final days, as he faced that time with peaceful assurance that he would soon be walking the streets of gold with his Lord and the loved ones who had passed before him.

Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Thornsberry; daughter, Kathy Rindfleisch; mother, Martha Thornsberry; father, Joe Thornsberry; and brothers, Dan (Wanda) and Alvin (Wanda Sue) Thornsberry.

Howard is survived by his wife, Mary Helton, and his children, Teresa (Bill) McCuan, Karen Carl, Terry (Ginny) Thornsberry, Tonya Woodford, and Jody (Dan) Sneary.

Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, Shannon (Steve) Vineyard, David McCuan, Jamie (Matt) Vazzana, Jeremy Shireman, Spencer Shireman, Karri Venis, T.J. Thornsberry, Heather (Brian) Woodford, Zach Woodford, Tyler Belcher, Aaron (Tamara) Belcher, Dalton Woodford, and Adam Belcher; twelve great-grandchildren, Gracie, Taylor, Addison, Khloe, Will, Jack, Olivia, Abby, Charlotte, Emery, Brooks, and Oliver; his brothers and sisters, Mavis (Sol) Tackett, Mander Lee (Sandy) Thornsberry, and Mabel Shepherd; and many nieces and nephews.
